2003 HillBilly Highlights !

This is a flashback to the 2003 Hillbilly 100's most memorable crash that destroyed Charlie Maloneys # 1m. Everyone just had a bad feeling after a first lap stackup collected the better half of the field, but most returned to action. |

Off to a good restart racing was close and fast around one and two, flat out down the backstretch when Maloney is forced high going into turn 3 and smacking that dreaded tire protecting the pit chute. |

Russ Fronaphel was also collected in the melee and comes to rest as broken race car parts roll past |

The devastation is more evident as the wreckage is dragged off the track. The huge crowd, especially those sitting in the backstretch bleachers breathed a heavy sigh of relief as all drivers involved walked away. |
